G Suite Collaboration Features accelerate Samator Indonesia

Samator is a gas-related business that holds the SGS ISO 9001:2000 certification and is the largest industrial gas provider in Indonesia.

Samator has operated as a specialized gas production under the direction of PT Aneka Gas Industri for three decades. East Java, Central Java, West Java, East and South Kalimantan, Sulawesi, and Sumatra all have producing facilities.

Supported by a distribution system that includes 15 industrial gas facilities scattered over the archipelago, more than 60 filling stations located in cities all over Indonesia, and more than 60 tank trucks.

By constructing Air Separation plants in numerous provinces, including West Java, Central Java, East Java, Bali, Kalimantan, Sumatra, and Sulawesi, Samator has diligently worked to establish a robust network.

Samator is working with PointStar to adopt G Suite in an effort to accomplish its internal vision, which includes the ability to grow its business sector and create service and technology products. Samator began utilizing G Suite in the latter part of last year in an effort to foster teamwork, efficiency, and device synchronization.

Samator wants to make sure that coordination of work and communication among its more than 3,000 employees runs well.

For Samator staff, working together in one document is a significant challenge. With thousands of employees dispersed around the nation, suitable collaboration tools are required to cut down on time that could be spent on other tasks. Due to the lack of sufficient collaboration tools, accessing the same document takes a lengthy time.

The office, which opened for business in 1975, believes that in the age of digital technology, business processes can be sped from production to distribution and done in real-time. Business operations that once took hours or days to complete can now be completed in a matter of seconds.

As the organization switched to G Suite, it is already possible to develop business operations that must be completed swiftly. The team may immediately learn about and make changes to anything done by individuals in other divisions in the same document.

Digital technology has been utilised in the production reports put in place at the business run by Arief Harsono. Anybody who changes shifts can immediately update the same log sheet with the new information and the hourly productivity results.

Samator takes into account the uptime factor—a measurement of how long the server has been functioning—along with collaboration to make sure the company can keep running without experiencing any technological difficulties.

Prior to this, Samator's email system only had a 95% uptime, which meant that during the 5% outage, users were unable to send or access emails from any location.

Efficiency in terms of time and money are also significant considerations. Face-to-face meetings can be held less frequently in favor of online gatherings with participants dispersed around the region thanks to this cloud-based software.

Samator has benefited from PointStar's assistance in implementing digital transformation as Google's top partner in Indonesia. 1,737 individuals have successfully switched to G Suite in total. Supported by the PointStar team, which came to Samator's office to conduct in-depth training on the G Suite products.
